CDS is excited to announce that Salome Abad has joined us as a CDS Intern! Salome currently works at Corgan in the Aviation Interiors department. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design and a minor in the Business of Art and Design from Ringling College of Art and Design. When asked why she desired to serve as a CDS Intern, Salome replied, “I want to serve as a CDS Intern because I want to give meaning to my life and purpose to my work as I serve the community I am a part of. I want to be a part of CDS because I want to make a difference and be surrounded by like-minded people who share that passion.” Salome’s energy and passion for service are contagious, and we are so glad to have Salome on the team!
CDS Interns commit to ongoing volunteer service with Community Design Services and work with all aspects of the organization including client consultations, project team function, and internal operations. The Intern Program at Community Design Services is designed to develop future design leaders while furthering the mission of CDS.
